Today is one of my favorite days - celebrating creativity and paper (things that I love)! This morning I'll be doing a little bit of everything that I love - scrapbooking, Project Life and card making. I've been a maker for as long as I can remember. Before the teams and the industry, I played with color and paint and stitching. It's great to have a day to celebrate all that rolled up in one.

ReplyDeleteHappy NSD to everyone! I didn't get to have any crafting/creating time today as we spent the night over at Lake Tahoe last night and drove home this afternoon. Had a wonderful time on a short getaway! I did get to do a bit of shopping in Tahoe City, but it was not craft related. But I did get one online order placed for a set of dies I have been itching to get! :)
ReplyDeleteHubby and I had breakfast at Whataburger, then we did the usual Saturday errands. Ons everything was put away, I started the challenges at Paper Issues and Scrapbook and Cards Today. The weather was gorgeous so I scrapped out on the back porch. Hoping to do the same thing tomorrow if the weather co-operates.

I confess that I haven't done any scrapping today, my sister & niece came to visit then, as soon as they left, I've been busy hopping around and BEING INSPIRED, SO MUCH that I have tucked away to try over the coming weeks and months.

ReplyDeleteMy sister and I spent the day shopping at the Great Lakes Mega Meet in Novi, MI. It is a huge scrapbook/cards/art expo. We got to shop so many wonderful stores, hang out with Wendy Vecchi and other artists...Tim wasn't there this year:( , make and take lots of cool crafts all with our cousin who lives in Michigan. ReplyDeleteMy son's birthday is on National (and International) Scrapbook Day so we had a birthday party for him. Then I visited my mother on Mother's Day. I plan to work on lots of crafts and projects tomorrow.
