Neat and Tangled February Release Day 4 | S'mores Fun

Hey there, welcome to the day three of the  February Neat and Tangled release. The last new stamp set is called S'mores Fun and it's one of my favorites from the release. Who doesn't love dancing chocolate for Valentine's?

To create this card begin with a white background and patterned heart paper. I like a colorful background when icons tend to be mostly monochromatic (shades of brown). The stamped images were colored with Copic markers for a pop of brightness. The sentiment was stamped in black and a scatter of tiny hearts was added to each of the characters.

Cascading Hearts + Backgrounds

You can tell I'm in Valentine's mode by the color schemes I've been gravitating towards lately. There's something about hot pink and orange and yellow that I love. I tried it out on this Cascading Hearts background stamp by Sunny Studios and I'm in love!

To create the card, use the Cascading Heart stamp and a trio of pigment inks ranging from fire engine red to bubblegum pink to orange. Using a stamping platform is key to getting the coverage shown here. Next, stamp a trio of kitties and balloons from the Purrfect Birthday stamp set and color with Copic markers. Use foam tape to pop up the center kitty and some of the balloons. Add the sentiment just under the kitties in blank ink. Place a small cake icon at the start of the sentiment for a bit of whimsy.

Use the Cascading Hearts stamp to create a beautiful shower of love for all of your stamped images!

Neat and Tangled July Release Day 1 | Together Stamp Set

Hey there, welcome to the first day of the July Neat and Tangled release. The first stamp set up is called Together and it's chock full of beautiful text. Perfect for titles of all different kids. I paired it up with Flamingo Floatie stamp set and Triangle Pattern Mask for a fun summer card.

To create this card I used the Triangle Pattern Mask and Oxide Distress Inks for a fun background. Combining the Neat and Tangled Together stamp and die sets is a great way to create a layered title. I used a blending tool to shade the top of the die cut title for a pop of color. The Flamingo Floatie images were colored with Copic markers and layered on the ink blended background.

A few sprinkle of sequins finish off this layered card.

Neat and Tangled June Release Day 3 | Welcome Home

Hey there, welcome to the first day of the June Neat and Tangled release. The third stamp set up is called Welcome Home and it's a beautiful bold design. I love the solid house image and went to town creating a background with it!

To create this card I used the Neat and Tangled Welcome Home stamp set to make a fun background on my card. I used the solid house image and pigments inks in shades of green, yellow and blue. Using a stamping press tool makes getting a nice, crisp image like this easier! I then stamped the sign post image on the center of a rectangle piece of cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. I wanted the sentiment to really stand out here against the busy background, so I used aqua embossing powder to give it a little lift.

A few sprinkles of hearts up the post finish off this home sweet home card.

Next, I used the Neat and Tangled Beach Day stamp set to create the scene. Copic markers were used to give those stamped images a pop of color!

Neat and Tangled March Release Day 4 | Classic Tags 2

Welcome to the last day of the Neat and Tangled March release. Today we have the Classic Tags 2 steel die. I love the versatility of this die set. I used it here to create a small birthday banner.

To add a punch of color to the basic white tag, I stamped a scene with the Big Top Birthday stamp and steel die set and colored it with copic markers. This stamp set is one of my favorites from Neat and Tangled. I like to color and this one is perfect for bold color palettes.

The Classic Tags 2 steel die includes the tag toppers and circle reinforcements. This makes creating custom tags quick and easy. I added a strip of black and white patterned paper to edge of the tags to give the stamped images a "ground".

The Class Tag 2 steel die also includes banner tags with reinforcements like the one above. I love to add stamped words to customize these small tags.

Hey everyone, welcome to day two of the Neat and Tangled March release. Today I have paired up the brand new Tiny Cuts steel die set and the Kitty's Favorite Things stamp set.

I love the detail that these intricate borders add. Here I used them to create a punch of texture and color to edge of this card.

The Kitty's Favorite Things stamp and steel die set are fun to color. Here I used Copic markers to add a splash of color to some of the images. I layered the banner and kitty with foam tape to pop them up a bit.

Neat & Tangled Release Day | Eggstra Special Peeps

It's happy February release day over at Neat and Tangled. First up is the Eggstra Special Stamp set. I love that cute little chick!

And here's the card I came up with using  Eggstra Special stamp and coordinating die set. Who doesn't love a little row of Peeps?

I went with a rainbow hue of little chicks on a bed of Easter grass for this design. It's simple and linear and very me! The chicks were colored in with Copic markers and the card was edged with little "x's" using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Border Set. A few sprinkles of Neat and Tangled Clear Sequins finishes of the design.
