Neat and Tangled March Release Day Four | Little Monster

Hey there, welcome to the day three of the  March Neat and Tangled release. On the final day of the release, I have monsters! My favorite set from this release includes a tiny birthday monster for all of your celebrations.

To create this card begin with a white cardstock card base with a circle die window cut out of it. Next, use Copic markers to color the monster, balloons and title in bold colors. Layer the monster and balloons in the center of the die cut circle, using foam tape to pop up some of the elements. Use black Versafine ink to stamp the subtitle and layer the "monster" title just underneath.

Ink Blended Ombre + Sunny Studio Stamps

I love ric rac and sunsets, so you could say this card is a little mix of those two loves. The stitched steel die is from Sunny Studios Stamp. The die gave me nice, sharp edges and was perfect for creating a little stack of textured goodness!

I started by ink blending a strip of white cardstock with Distress Inks in Fossilized Amber and Abandoned Coral. Then I used the largest Ric Rac Border  die repeatedly to create a beautiful ombre range. Next, a small shaker box was created with the Scalloped Circles Steel Die. The kitty is from the Purrfect Birthday stamp set and was colored with Copic markers. Last, a sentiment from the same set was stamped in black ink.

The ric rac border shape adds a pop of bold color and design to this birthday greeting. The tiny stitching detail adds a warm touch of handmade goodness!

Sunny Studios Tiny Dancer Watercolors

Say hello to the newest in Sunny Studios' release - Tiny Dancer.  I love these cute little ballerinas and the sentiments that are both beautiful and versatile.

To create this card, start with a simple watercolored background that your tiny dancers can shine on! I chose the colors based on the patterned paper placed at the bottom edge of the card. All of the tiny dancers were colored with the same palette in mind with Distress Inks. A scattering of tiny stamped daisies gives the card some movement and a dose of dainty.

I like to color and send handmade goodness and this stamp set is perfect for all the little (and big) ballerinas in my life!

Cascading Hearts + Backgrounds

You can tell I'm in Valentine's mode by the color schemes I've been gravitating towards lately. There's something about hot pink and orange and yellow that I love. I tried it out on this Cascading Hearts background stamp by Sunny Studios and I'm in love!

To create the card, use the Cascading Heart stamp and a trio of pigment inks ranging from fire engine red to bubblegum pink to orange. Using a stamping platform is key to getting the coverage shown here. Next, stamp a trio of kitties and balloons from the Purrfect Birthday stamp set and color with Copic markers. Use foam tape to pop up the center kitty and some of the balloons. Add the sentiment just under the kitties in blank ink. Place a small cake icon at the start of the sentiment for a bit of whimsy.

Use the Cascading Hearts stamp to create a beautiful shower of love for all of your stamped images!

Wintery Good Watercolors + Sunny Studio Polar Friends

I'm "celebrating" the season with a look at a mix of wintery friends from the Polar Playmates and Playful Polar Bear stamp sets. Who am I kidding, is so not my favorite time of the year. On the upside though - this is my creative season. So I've decided to just go with it and create a wintery scene using some Sunny Studio Stamps.

To create this card, begin with a strip of medium blue and darker blue adhered to the bottom of the card. A circle die cut of aqua cardstock was stamped with the Snow Flurries stamp to give it some movement and tie it into the theme. All of the whimsical images were watercolored with Zig Clean Color makers for a bright punch of color. They were adhered with pop dots for some added dimension. A few dew drops and the sentiment stamped in black and blue inks complete this card.

And that's it! Creating a snowy is scene is like therapy for this winter avoiding chick. At the very least - it's cute and I really love that.
