Neat and Tangled March Release Day 1 | Hello Spring and Easter

Hey there, welcome to the day one of the  March Neat and Tangled releaseThe first stamp set up is called Hello Spring and it's a beautiful block of words perfect for creating seasonal cards.

To create this card begin with a die cut window card. Next, stamp the Hello Spring block text with pigment inks in green, robin's egg blue, yellow and raspberry. Additional colors will be created as you layer these four. Use a stamping press to make this process easy! Use the Neat and Tangled Spring die to create a bold title. Add a small bunny watercolored with Distress Inks and a flag with a celebrate sentiment.

Neat and Tangled will be giving away a Hello Spring stamp set. To enter, leave a comment below to be entered. Be sure to visit the Neat and Tangled blog on Friday for a list of winners. Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

A Happy Spring Layout

Sharing my latest from the 2Peas Garden Gallery. One of my favorite things about this time of year is the Spring Show Nico's school puts on every year. I mixed up six different manufacturers to come up with this springy, happy design.
Layout copyright Twop Peas in a Bucket.com
I wrote the title on this chalk board square from Canvas Corp. They make all kinds of interesting odds and ends for scrapbooking including tags, burlap, chalkboard and fabric pieces. I wrote the title with a white gel pen and then added layers of chipboard, a kraft envelope and rope.
Finally, I cut up two layers of fringe grass and added them just below the "happy" stickers. I've listed all of the products used on this layout in the 2Peas gallery here in case you were curious.

Enjoy your weekend and I hope it's "springy" wherever you are!

Flying Flying Flying

I was browsing through some of my old layouts and these two caught my eye. Probably because they are my favorite color scheme - aqua blue and orange. Actually, aqua blue and anything is my favorite color scheme. It just seems to work with most of my pictures. Maybe it's a boy thing?
This one on top took me forever and a day because I really wanted to use the cloud paper (for the kites) and the sun paper. I finally made it work by combining the October Afternoon clouds, Fancy Pants sun paper and Cosmo Cricket everything else. The chipboard title is old and I painted it barn red. So in just a mere 3.5 hours (ha), voila - one kite flying layout.
And to make up for that kite layout, this one was done probably in an hour or so. I think this is a sketch from somewhere, but I can't remember where I got it from. It may be from amillionlittlethings.com - so thank you if that's where it originated from. And if not, my apologies! I love how it's almost a crisscross pattern. All of the patterned paper is vertically laid and all of the photos/journaling/title are horizontal. It's a cool effect.
All of the paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Lil Man line and the brown alphas are Pink Paislee.
